Process Component: Project Environment

Description

The Project Environment process component is concerned with setting up the development environment for the project. It covers process guidance, such as how to prepare process assets for project use, and how to set up and configure development tools.

For most projects, this process component will provide valuable information on how to do project-specific tailoring and environment setup. However, those projects following a very lightweight process, or those organizations that do most of the development environment work prior to project startup, might find the environment related information in the Management Component to be sufficient.
