Guidelines: Pareto Diagrams

To complement the fishbone diagram, you can use Pareto diagrams. They focus on showing relative size between contributing factors (root causes) to the problem.

Assign percentage factors to each root cause. Draw the Pareto diagram and decide on the top 20 percent of the contributing root causes.
