Guidelines: Review Record - Informal Representation

The following are some recommendations and options for informally representing a review record.

Option: No Documentation

It is more important to perform reviews than to document them.

Review records are an important means of recording decisions and actions items for later reference. They are also useful for communicating with interested stakeholders that did not participate in the review.

Email is generally an appropriate medium. Topics should include:

  • Objectives of the Review
  • Review Participants
  • Time & Location
  • Decisions
  • Action Items
