Process Component: Design with Use Cases
Description
The Design with Use Cases process component extends the basic Design process component with use cases, and use-case modeling, as a specific technique. Use cases are a proven technique for capturing functional requirements in a form that both end-users and developers can understand.
Use cases are prevalent throughout RUP content, because they are used as a core driver for planning, design, implementation, and test. As such, this component should be included in most RUP-based process configurations.
