The Keyword Index

The keyword index provides the ability to look-up topics in the Rational Unified Process (RUP) based on keywords or topics. At the time the process pages are created, keywords are identified which allows the keyword index to be built.

The top frame of the keyword index window allows topics beginning with a letter or number to be displayed. The lower’ frame displays a list of topics and their related links. Clicking on a link causes the related page to be displayed in the ‘main’ frame of the RUP browser window.

When you publish a RUP configuration from RUP Builder(TM), you have an option to regenerate the Keyword Index file for the Website. This is a recommended practice to avoid getting keywords that reference non-included content.
