What is Rational University
Rational University offers professional education and product training to provide students with the concepts, skills and specialized knowledge they need to become experts on Rational tools and software development best practices. Rational University courses complement Rational’s development tools by providing a structured professional education curriculum that combines training on tools and proven software development processes.
Rational University’s mission is to ensure customer success through development and deployment of Professional Education and Product Training programs. Courseware is organized into role-based or product-based curriculum paths. Curriculum paths are a blend of Instructor-led training and Web-based training courses.

Rational University offers two beginner-level courses for the Rational Unified Process® product.
PRJ110 Fundamentals of Rational Unified Process（统一软件开发过程）
- Web-based training course
- Three to four hours of learning combined with hands-on experience on live RUP.
PRJ270 Essentials of Rational Unified Process
- Two-day Instructor-led training course
- Offers one and a half days of learning and hands-on experience on live RUP, along with a half-day RUP project simulation that allows students to simulate the application of RUP in a project.
